Bottega Veneta Just Introduced a 100% Biodegradable Boot
Yesterday, Bottega Veneta presented its Fall/Winter 2020 collection at Milan Fashion Week. This season creative director Daniel Lee presented an assortment of wardrobe staples and statement pieces, but nothing stood out quite like the Maison’s new biodegradable boot.
The new boots debuted by Bottega are entirely crafted from 100 percent biodegradable material. Not only that, but the new footwear is also unisex, sent down the runway on both male and female models. The chunky boot’s shape is strongly reminiscent of clogs — for Bottega Veneta, a completely new brand of footwear much more quirky and playful than its signature sleek pieces.
Presented in an array of colors, including brown, neon green and hot pink, the gender-defying chunky boot was expertly paired with varying silhouettes and styles, making it the unexpected finishing touch to the elegant SS20 looks.
