What inspired the Sakura Pink capsule?

Sakura Pink is inspired by the concept of regrowth – the first spring blooms appearing after the darkness of winter. Japanese cherry trees blossom suddenly each spring, washing whole neighborhoods in a sea of delicate blush pink. Sakura represents the optimism of new life and the importance of protecting our planet so life can continue.

What is Sakura?

Sakura is the Japanese term for cherry blossom trees. They’re often called the informal national flower of Japan and symbolize good luck, love, and springtime. Each spring, they bloom with beautiful pink or white flowers for only about a week or two. Because they bloom for such a short time, they are also thought to represent the transience of life—reminding us to cherish the beauty of each day.
