Why we don’t call ourselves ‘sustainable’.

Because honesty’s the best policy for us at PANGAIA

We know that everything we create has an impact on the planet. From carbon emitted during shipping through to water used in the production process—however small, there will always be an environmental cost. That’s why at PANGAIA, we don’t want to be labeled as sustainable. It just doesn’t sit right with us.

What we do want, is to inspire tangible, industry-wide change for a more Earth-positive future.

We’re reimagining what everyday products could be made of—whether that’s wildflowers, food waste or hemp fibers instead of non-renewable synthetics—and how they should be made, with ethical, transparent and community-supporting practices.

So, we’re continuing to work on our commitment to reinvent the material landscape with innovative technology and problem-solving styles that are better for people and the planet—and we’d love for you to join us on our journey.
